Crane Operator Assessment Templates

employee competency

Regular competency assessments for crane operators help to ensure safety and compliance. Employers and supervisors should initiate these assessments when operators start, for each new crane, or after any significant absence from work. It’s crucial to keep detailed records of all assessments to support continuous improvement.

BC Crane Safety has created customizable Word templates to aid employers and owners in conducting these assessments to ensure regulatory standards are met and to demonstrate due diligence in occupational health and safety (OHS).

These templates are meant to assist employers with complying with OHSR 14.34 – Operator Qualifications.

These documents are not to be considered the training plan or program required of the Provisional sponsor.
