Crane Operator Standards

BC Crane Safety maintains the Crane Operator Standards for all crane classifications in BC in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations. Program Profiles as used by the ITA for apprenticeable crane classifications are derived from and matched against the BC Crane Operator Standards.

These documents are provided to help guide the development of crane operator courses and training. They describe the general areas of competence and tasks associated with a given crane classification.
