Terms & Conditions

Certification

Crane operators must comply with the relevant provisions of the BCACS certification scheme. BCACS will provide a digital certificate to all certified crane operators and maintain sole ownership of the certificates. Crane operators must agree to make claims regarding certification only with respect to the scope for which certification has been granted. The certification must not be used in a misleading manner or such a manner as to bring BCACS into disrepute. Crane operators must not make any statement regarding the certification which BCACS considers misleading or unauthorized.

If certification has been suspended or withdrawn, crane operators must discontinue the use of all claims to certification that contain any reference to BCACS or certification, and to return any certificates issued by BCACS. In the event of suspension of certification, a crane operator must refrain from further promotion of the certification while it is suspended. In the event of withdrawal of certification, a crane operator must refrain from use of all references to a certified status.

Certified crane operators must immediately inform BCACS, via email or post, of matters that can affect their capability to effectively and safely operate a crane.
