B.C. Crane Operator Practical Test
Posted on 2026-09-03
The B.C. crane operator practical test allows operators to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills required to safely operate a crane.
Upon passing the test, the operator will be certified for a specific crane classification and will receive a B.C. Crane Operator designation.
Do you have a successful practical test result already for a given crane classification? In British Columbia, practical test results from Fulford Certification, or any Canadian provincial or territorial regulatory body, are generally recognized.
In addition, USA practical test results are recognized from NCCER, NCCCO, and OECP. Irish Practical Test results from SOLAS Ireland are also recognized. B.C. also recognizes crane operator credentials from all of these jurisdictions.
